We would like to take this moment to honor assisted living communities for their dedication to providing long term care services and supports to seniors and individuals with disabilities! We celebrate the many individuals who choose assisted living communities as their home, and we thank the staff, volunteers, and loved ones of the residents for their time, talents, and trust!

In 2009, Virginia designated September 15th of each year as the Virginia Assisted Living Awareness Day dedicated to programs and activities associated with the Assisted Living Community to raise awareness and to help educate Virginia's citizens as to the services available.
