Colleagues In Care, a Global Health Collaboration Network Bringing Critical Medical Care to the Destitute Poor through Global Collaboration

The focus of Colleagues in Care Global Health Network is to build a medical knowledge and volunteer service database, as well as develop "Best Possible Practice Models" (BPPM) that can be replicated primarily in countries facing low and limited resources. The Strategy is to bring together best practice international evidence based review and accepted professional disease management protocols tempered by a priority schema determined in collaboration with our Haitian Colleagues. Diseases with the highest frequency and severity, with presumed maximum potential leverage to influence measurable positive outcomes will be addressed first. The final Best Possible Practice Program will be determined by a collaborative consensus based on ideal best evidence, modified for realities related to limited physicial, pharmacologic, equipment and supplies, as well as professional resources.

Dr. Lemaire is an OBGYN working in Haiti to improve outcomes.
"It's been three years since I have completed my basic ultrasound training and I have been blessed to be able to shadow a few of the very best fetal heart specialists: Drs Fouron, Abuhamad, Jeanty and Sinkovskaya. Now it's time for me to give back. Like a friend of mine said: "Knowledge that isn't shared isn't worth much but through sharing you can quadruple the effect"
The educational opportunities he has benefited from in part due to CIC are a catalyst to change.
