A little about myself...
Hello! My name is Emily Knoch. I am a Registered Nurse, a wife and a mother to three busy boys! I have been a nurse for seven years. I have worked in a variety of different departments including: Inpatient Unit, Labor and Delivery and I am currently in the Emergency Department. I have always liked the idea of doing something different with my nursing license. For about five years I have wanted to become certified in Botox-type injections. Finally my dream has come true. I became certified through Empire Medical Training in July 2018. I am working with Dr. Danny Yarger, whom I work with in the Emergency Department. He was very willing to be my medical director and supervising physician so I could pursue this new professional path. I am very excited to start on this new journey, and I hope you’ll join me! I will strive to give my clients great results.
Botulinum Toxin Type A injections have a scary name. But these injections have been used for many years to help treat medical conditions. After WWII, physicians used Botulinum Toxin to treat muscle spasms in soldiers. Eventually in 2002, it was approved for use cosmetically to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It is a very simple injection procedure. The most common places to inject are: the forehead, the glabellar region (between the eye brows) and Crow’s feet. Treatment typically wears off in three-four months.
I will be working evenings to accommodate working clients and my family. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with a fresh, new look!
