You may have checked on this FB page from time to time, and saw something having to do with journaling. I have shared with you that it is my desire to share MY JOURNEY with you so as to help you with your journey. We may be on different journeys, but not every journey is full of good turns and successful outcomes.
I want to share that this FB page Biblical Patterns for Living is not about MY JOURNEY. It is to share with you some true golden nuggets of truth, that have taken me years to learn, but is now bringing success in my life.
The truth is, most of our journeys are filled with breakdowns on the path, taking the wrong road and not reaching our destinations. How many of us have lived this life, only to find out that far into our journey we still have a long way to go to reach our destination.
That destination, of course, are the goals, the outcomes that we have hopefully built into reaching during our lifetime, but it also includes our ultimate eternal destination...a life with God forever, or a life absent of God for all eternity.
Of course, the choice is ours.
I don't want you to meander with me on the ups and downs, mountains and valleys I have taken in my life.
I do want you to see some of the awesome things that I am seeing now, today, that God wants us to see in His Word, the Bible.
Biblical Patterns for Living is learning steps to take in our walk in this world that were specifically written for you and me by God Himself!
For example, follow these beginning steps:
1- Seek God With All of Your Heart
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.Jeremiah 29:13
2- Accept Him As Lord and Savior
But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name, John 1:12
3- Choose to Live for God and Serve Him
Joshua 24:15 New King James Version (NKJV)
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served ...in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
4- Talk to God and Watch Him Bless You
Philippians 4:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
5- Share the Blessings of God With Others
2 Corinthian 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
