Join us for our celebration not only of Beltaine, but of the Full Moon in Scorpio!

As part of our festivities, we invite you to create a small piece of artwork inspired by Spring to display on our Community Art Altar, and partake in the Downtown Hanover's First Friday Art Walk! It can be in any medium, but please be mindful of mess. Artwork can be dropped off starting at 4pm on May 1st, and must be collected by 4pm on May 3rd.

A new offering is blooming this Spring from our friends at Magnolia Massage Haven! Join us for a relaxing hour of sound bowl therapy to help rebalance and reset for the upcoming week. A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you rest while being immersed in calming sounds and vibrations from traditional Tibetan singing bowls.

The session supports stress relief, relaxation, and nervous system regulation. No experience, equipment or set of beliefs is required — just come comfortable and ready to rest.

An in-depth exploration of the elements, their lore, history, correspondences, and use in spell work and ritual.

The four elements are the pillars that uphold the manifest world and anchor spirit to matter. They are associated with a wide range of spiritual entities, from small elementals to divine beings.

This book explores the consciousness of the elements, which provides a system of understanding that supports most of the magic of the West and paganism. The use of the elements in a wide range of systems and practices will be examined. Much has been written about the four elements already; this book offers new teachings for newcomers and long-time practitioners alike.

Each of the four elements is explored in depth, including how they interact and change as they rise on the planes. Practical applications for working with the elements are also woven throughout the book. The book concludes with the union of the elements that is more than just becoming Spirit, but the completion of their Great Work.

In this immersive class, you will learn the ancient art of galdr and stave magic, focusing specifically on the creation of protective staves used as wards. Rooted in Northern European folk traditions, these symbols are more than marks. They are living constructs activated through intention, breath, sound, and ritual.

Participants will explore the history, folklore, and cultural context of galdrastafir and lukkastafir, gaining a clear understanding of how and why these staves were traditionally used for protection, sealing, and energetic boundary setting. From there, we will move into the practical work of designing, activating, and maintaining warding staves for homes, sacred spaces, and personal spiritual use.

In this class, you will learn:
• The difference between galdrastafir, lukkastafir, and other well known protective staves
• How wards function energetically and symbolically
• Ethical and respectful approaches to working with traditional stave magic
• Methods for creating your own protective staves with clarity and intention
• Activation techniques using galdr (voice), breath, and ritual
• Proper placement, upkeep, and release of wards

This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Whether you are seeking to protect your space, strengthen energetic boundaries, or deepen your connection to ancestral magical practices, this workshop offers practical tools and deeper insight into the power of warding through stave magic.

Come prepared to work with focus, reverence, and intention as you learn to craft wards that stand firm and true.
