My daughter swam with them in Hawaii...amazing story! Ask her about it when you see her here sometime!

In 2004 four lifeguards were swimming off the coast of New Zealand when a pod of dolphins suddenly closed in around them forming a tight circle. At first it seemed odd until a dark shadow appeared below, a massive white shark.

The dolphins had sensed the threat before the humans did. They slapped the water with their tails, darted back and forth, and refused to let any swimmer drift away. For forty long minutes they held their ground, guarding the lifeguards until the shark finally disappeared into the deep.

Only then did the dolphins quietly break formation and swim off, leaving behind a powerful reminder that the ocean has its own heroes.

I think I had 2 strokes, 4 leg cramps, lost my vision twice, and peed my overalls while watching this. I heard myself squeak. Not sure my legs are going to hold me up.
