Breathe Yoga was well represented this weekend for inspiring workshop. Four incredibly rich sessions filled with learning, reflection, and practice left our hearts full and our spirits lifted. So grateful for our teachers who continue to learn, grow, and share that passion with our community. What a gift to be part of something so meaningful.

This guy! What an incredible milestone and what a journey it’s been. Doug, you are truly the heart of this community. Your dedication, your quiet strength, and your steady presence inspire everyone around you. You’ve faced challenges with such grace and determination, and your commitment to keep showing up, to keep growing, breathing, and finding peace on your mat, is something we all admire deeply. You remind us what progress really looks like: one yoga inspired step at a time. Your warmth fills the studio, your smile lights up every class, and the way you connect with those around you makes Breathe feel even more like home. We love you, Doug. Yoga Alliance Registered CE Workshop
Prerequisite: 200-Hour RYT

This short and focused workshop is designed to help yoga teachers feel confident, skilled, and safe when offering hands-on assists in group classes.

In this 3-hour session, you’ll:

Learn the 10 most common posture assists that can be offered safely and efficiently during class.

Watch live demonstrations and visual presentations that break down each assist with clarity and care.

Partner up for guided, hands-on practice to refine your technique and build confidence in real time.

You’ll receive a comprehensive digital handbook with photos and notes for each assist, PowerPoint visuals, and a certificate of completion upon finishing the course. Printed handbooks will be available for purchase.

This workshop will help keep students safe, supported, and eager to return, building trust and connection through mindful touch.

Still feeling the glow from this weekend. 🌟

Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who came together from our three studio communities, sharing space, support, and genuine care for themselves and one another. There was so much warmth, healing, and connection.

Thank you for trusting us to guide you through each experience, from cacao circles and mindful moments in nature to yoga and sound. Every breath, every conversation, and every quiet pause held meaning.

This weekend was a reminder of what yoga truly is: union. The love, understanding, and shared humanity that bring us together.
We’re so grateful to keep creating spaces like this to gather, to grow, and to keep coming home to ourselves and each other. We look forward to continuing to offer opportunities like this to connect, restore, and share in community. 🧡

Ebbing Tea the Rising Tide - Tea, Meditation & Yin - $35 per person

Guided by two gifted practitioners — Ali, a deeply intuitive yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner whose calm, healing energy fills the room 🌿, and D’Guar, an insightful tea educator from our partners at Cup of Tea 🍵, whose knowledge of the leaf and its traditions runs deep — this experience invites you into a morning where tea and yin yoga meet the rhythm of the tides 🌊.

We begin by gathering around Camellia sinensis, the living tea leaf. As it steeps, its fragrance draws the senses into the present. Each sip gently awakens the body and focuses the mind, preparing you to move inward.

From this shared cup we ease into a yin yoga journey of long, supported poses. Bolsters, blankets, blocks and tea cradle you as muscles release and breath deepens. Here tea excels as a quiet current that mirrors the ebb and flow within 🕊️.

We close with a final steep and a soft meditation, carrying the calm of tea and the soothing tide into the rhythm of your daily life ☁️.

Have you met Jessica? 🌿 This lovely human is part of our extended wellness team through Bridgetown Chiropractic Happy Valley, and we’re so grateful to have her here at Breathe.

Jessica completed the Licensed Massage Therapy program at the Oregon School of Massage in 2014, where she focused on Shiatsu, Reiki, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since then, she’s built a beautiful balance of Eastern and Western approaches—drawing on her experience in injury rehab, sports massage, and deeply grounding bodywork.

She offers Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, often incorporating cupping and gua sha for a truly therapeutic experience. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her hiking, painting, traveling, or playing disc golf.

🧘 A yoga session followed by a massage with Jessica is the ultimate self-care—leaving you feeling relaxed, balanced, and completely renewed.

We’re so happy to welcome Petra to our regular teaching schedule after her time subbing at Breathe! She’s already made such a beautiful impression on our community but don’t just take it from us. Here’s what one of our students recently shared:
