Our Story

History

Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home and Lincoln Memorial Park have been a part of the greater Portland community since 1906. The cemetery was originally founded as Mount Scott Park Cemetery, on the slopes of Mount Scott. The property’s first structure was a stone building that served as the administrative offices. It was recently used to film a short segment for the popular TV show "Grimm." In 1914, a crematory was built on the cemetery property. In 1926, the mausoleum was built, and the name of the cemetery officially changed to Lincoln Memorial Park.

In 1992, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home opened at Lincoln Memorial Park, adding vital convenience and simplicity when planning final arrangements.
