“With the consistent 80-90% pain relief I’ve gotten with HF10, I no longer wake up every day worrying if it will be a good or bad day because of debilitating back and hip pain,” said Marilyn, who suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis and disc problems.

Before her 2017 HF10 trial and implant, Marilyn had to do everything – gardening, grocery shopping, water aerobics, etc. -- in 5-minute increments.

“It took so long to do anything because I needed frequent breaks due to my agonizing discomfort,” Marilyn explained.

With HF10 Marilyn says driving is comfortable, sleep is more manageable and daily life doesn’t hold anywhere near the restrictions it once did. She is gardening and doing yoga again and no longer has to time her activities to accommodate excruciating pain.

As we continue navigating COVID-19, Portland Pain Care is focused on ensuring the health and well-being of our patients and staff. Everything we are doing right now - increased cleaning and sanitizing protocols, closing offices and adjusting operations - meets and in many cases exceeds the guidance provided by the CDC and other public health authorities.

Dr. Stapleton is currently using Telehealth to see patients whenever possible and is seeing patients on a limited basis at our Johnson Creek Office. We also have staff available to take your calls Monday through Friday.
