For our March , we’d like you to meet Peggy!

She has lived at The Blake for five years and was the third resident to move in. She was chosen for her vibrant spirit and how she embraces life at The Blake.

One thing she loves about living at The Blake is getting to know all the other residents and being part of the community.

If she could give one piece of advice, it would be: "Stay busy, exercise regularly, and laugh a lot."
Fun fact: Peggy will be 100 in May and recently reigned as Queen of our Mardi Gras Ball! She enjoys gardening, crocheting, sewing, knitting, smocking, and playing Canasta.

Peggy has brought so much life to The Blake, and we are so lucky to have her!

For our March , we would like to recognize Shannon! She has been with The Blake since January 2026 and has become a vital part of our community!

Shannon is one of our Personal Attendants (PA) here at The Blake. She is an extremely hard worker and always goes above and beyond for our residents. Shannon enjoys building connections with everyone she meets and brings kindness and dedication to her role each day.

Her favorite part about working at The Blake is working with the residents and getting to know them.

Fun Fact: Shannon loves spending time with her two sons, ages 2 and 18. She also loves pigs—she used to have a pet pig and has a large collection of pig decorations!
