How does Thermography work:

As the body’s cells go through their energy conversion process they emit heat. When there is uncontrolled growth, or increase in blood vessels formation such as in cancer, even more heat is emitted.

Thermography is able to register these heat emissions and display them.

Thermography can provide the ability to detect specific blood-flow before a tumor may form.

Thermography vs Mammography

Mammography exposes a lot of radiation. According to the American Cancer Institute, mammography exposes patients to 0.4 mSv of radiation, the equivalent of about seven weeks of background radiation from the earth and space. Women may get anywhere from 25 to 50 mammograms over their lifetime, and the effects of radiation exposure are cumulative.
Mammography only detect cancer after it has reached 5 mm in size, when there are already many cancer cells in the breast and the cancer is fairly advanced.
Thermography is a better alternative to mammography for assessing abnormalities in the breast tissue that could indicate breast cancer.
Thermography is a non-invasive test that looks for heat changes in the breast tissue and can detect an abnormality in the breast five years before it actually develops into a cancer.
Thermography detects the growth of cancer after one year (200) cells instead of 10 years like a mammogram
Thermography uses infrared Thermal Imaging which can detect physiological abnormalities by measuring temperature changes.
