To finish off the season! As a full time cath lab nurse and a full time dad of two crazy kids both under 4, I am blessed to have a wife that allows me the continue hunting and guiding Savannah Kolacek Schlehuber. Northern Michigan and the U.P. Had a very weird year as far as migration goes. It was warm early, dead mid season and hot late but you only know when you get out! Keep hunting and always remember. Shoot Straight! Book for spring turkey now!

Waterfowl season quickly approaches, myself and my fellow guides have been hard at work and can not wait for this upcoming season! Prices for a morning hunt are 50$ a gun and a full day is 75$ a gun. Straights Story

Hey!

Thanks for stopping by our page, we are so happy you are here.

Straights Feather & Co is a small guiding business serving Northern Michigan. I am a born and raised michiganian and it is where I will always call home. I live in Harbor Springs Mi, with my wife and two kids but the U.P is where I enjoy spending my free time. After graduating high school I moved to Marquette, MI to attend Northern Michigan University. In between the pursuit for my nursing degree, I spent my time growing my passion as an avid waterfowl hunter. I grew and learned alongside many outdoorsmen to develop a skill and love for scouting and planned guided hunts. After completing my BSN I accepted an offer to start my nursing career at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. Meanwhile, I started an annual “Duck Camp” exclusively for locals. The camp attendance has since grown, as well as my desire for guiding. With the help of my wife Savannah and my close friends, Straights Feather was born to offer a full service guiding experience for outdoor men & women to have a carefree hunting camp experience of their own.
