People are experiencing and navigating a lot right now….mental and emotional stress can often times show up in the body as a way to bring our attention to things that want to be addressed. There are many ways to approach learning what the body is trying to communicate.
I often work directly on the body with individuals who are establishing safety in their system, as nurturance and connection with mindful touch can support fostering trust in an anxious system, like a comforting hug.
Other times clients have concerns about physical symptoms that show up, which is our body’s way of communicating, like an alarm system.
Here is my response to a recent inquiry:
“I am doing well, phew, it’s been a ride! Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We can certainly explore the emotional texture your system is alerting you to associated with these symptoms. There are some things that come to mind with the locations you mentioned but it’s best to get you in and listen to what your body has to say.
I would recommend Biofield Tuning, which is most helpful when 3 sessions are done somewhat close together (as it’s helpful to reinforce/remind/train the pattern to shift). I look forward to exploring this with you to see what we can discover.”
Three sessions may not always be indicated, so I always let folks know they need to listen to and trust their body. “Close together” can be all in the same week, spaced out over a month, or once a month for 3 months. It’s really depends on the individual situation presented. I will say, for myself on the receiving end, repetition has been key to things shifting.
