Today, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas received the 2025 Phoenix Award for Education and Internship Impact from Workforce Solutions of Central Texas!

At the Subhani Family Clubhouse, and across all 30 BGCTX sites, we are dedicated to preparing youth for bright futures through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world learning. This recognition reflects our shared commitment to helping young people gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in school, work, and life.

A heartfelt thank you to Workforce Solutions of Central Texas for their continued partnership and for recognizing the power of collaboration in shaping tomorrow’s workforce. Together, we’re building pathways of purpose for the next generation. 💙

Farewell to Summer at the Subhani Family Clubhouse! ☀️

A heartfelt thank you to all our members, families, and summer staff for an amazing season. 💙 To those not returning this year – you will be missed. To our returning friends – we can’t wait to see you again on August 11.

Important Reminders:
• Closed: Aug 4–8 • Open: Aug 11–12 (7:30 AM–5:30 PM)
• After‑school resumes: Aug 13 (3:00 PM–6:30 PM)
• Lunch served. Breakfast before arrival appreciated or bring snacks/lunch.
• New transportation contracts needed for school year.
• Skipcha & Mountain View buses full (waitlist open).
• Nolanville and Cavazos Elementary families: call to register for our new member transportation services.

🌟 Teammate Spotlight & Partner Appreciation 🌟

We’d like to send a huge THANK YOU to Workforce Solutions of Central Texas and the incredible SEAL (Summer Earn and Learn) program for placing Donte Jennings with us this summer!

Donte quickly became a valued part of the Subhani Family Clubhouse team—showing up each day with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine care for the youth we serve. Through his time with us, Donte developed essential workplace skills, built strong connections with staff and members, and played a key role in supporting our summer programs.

Whether he was helping set up activities, mentoring younger members, or keeping the Club running smoothly behind the scenes, Donte showed great professionalism and heart. We are incredibly proud of his growth and wish him all the best as he continues his education and career journey!

This partnership with Workforce Solutions strengthens our mission of serving youth who need us most. Because of programs like SEAL, our Club not only empowers young people—but also helps young professionals find their path, too.

What a week at the Subhani Family Clubhouse! 🎉 We celebrated Boys & Girls Club Week with energy, excitement, and youth leadership at the center of it all.

From Tournament Thursday competitions to our Career Day-themed Fun Friday, our kids showed up and showed out — leading activities, exploring careers, and dreaming big. And our staff? Simply incredible. Many are business owners, authors, collegiate athletes, future teachers & counselors — living proof of the futures we inspire every day.

Huge thanks to our community partners and friends who supported us all week long: Navy Federal Credit Union, Kristy Gill, Area 254, Kathleen Button with Viva Yoga, Hearts Renewed Counseling, and so many more.

This week reminded us what happens when youth, staff, and community come together — great futures take flight 💙

We’ve been celebrating the incredible impact of Boys & Girls Clubs all week long—spotlighting what makes our Club such a powerful place for youth to learn, grow, and lead. 💙✨

So far, our week has included:

Our members focused on mental and physical wellness through fun, calming activities and movement!

👩‍🍳 Top Chef Tuesday – Open the Door to the Future
We cooked up creativity and explored workforce readiness through hands-on culinary fun and career exploration!

🏠 Wellness Wednesday – Open the Door to a Club
Today we celebrated our Club community with open hearts—and an open house! Our community partners got a glimpse of the magic that happens here every day.
