New York City Market Director Angelo Ambrosino remembers 9/11: "I always think about all the children who lost a parent. It's something that the term really means something. It's a tough reminder of all of the brave men and women running into the building when everyone was running out. Someone who I went to high school with was a fireman who ran into the building and never came out. Every year during 9/11, my thoughts and prayers are with all the families who had a loss."

New York City Market Director James Torrellas remembers 9/11: "Probably two-thirds or three-quarters of the people lost were never found. But everybody needs to say goodbye. For one man, we had a mass service with a casket. The family gave us photos and things of remembrance. We buried that casket at a cemetery, marked with a stone, but his remains were never found. It was sad that people didn't get the proper way to say goodbye to their loved one. And that will be something I will always remember."

Whew... we just delivered two truckloads of boxes absolutely filled with gifts and food for the three Allen County Christmas Bureau families that D.O. McComb & Sons, Dignity Memorial and Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services adopted this year.

We hope that these items not only lighten the load for the mothers but we pray that those children wake up on Christmas morning to the best day ever! ❄️🎄🎅🏼
