🏴‍☠️ Flashback to International Talk Like a Pirate Day! ☠️⚓

Back in September, our Delco programs went all-in for one of the most entertaining days of the year — International Talk Like a Pirate Day! From bandanas and eye patches to full pirate looks, our individuals and staff showed up in true swashbuckling style.

The laughter, the “arrrr’s,” and the incredible attire made it a day we’re still smiling about.

Our Indian Valley Creative Gifts program welcomed families for a joyful Thanksgiving celebration, and the smiles say it all!

📚 Booksgiving is Back! 📚

Our HUB group is spreading the joy of reading once again by collecting used books to fill local Little Libraries in the community! Donations are welcome at any of our programs through Wednesday, November 26th.

A big thank you to everyone who has already contributed — our donation table at the office is looking just like last year’s, and we can’t wait to see it overflow with even more stories and adventures for readers of all ages!

Our Delco programs hosted their annual Fall Fest, bringing together individuals we support, their families, and our incredible staff for an afternoon filled with good food, music, smiles, and plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company. It was the perfect way to welcome the season and celebrate the connections that make Peaceful Living feel like family.

🥧 As we look ahead to Thanksgiving, we’re excited to keep that warm spirit going. Families are invited to join us once again for a Thanksgiving meal right here at the program, where we’ll gather around the table, share delicious food, and enjoy time together in gratitude.

One of our residents and attendees of Indian Valley Creative Gifts, Kim, recently enjoyed a well-deserved getaway to Ocean City — and it looked like the perfect trip! 🏖️

Kim’s favorite moments included seeing the horses, getting pampered with a fresh hair and nail day, and enjoying some truly delicious meals out. 🍽️💅🐴

A big shoutout to her staff, Lauren, who was her partner in crime throughout the adventure — helping Kim live her best life on vacation and create memories to last a lifetime. 💙

Our Family Services (HUB) group recently spent time at Engage Art Studio, enjoying a fun and relaxing pottery painting class! From choosing colors to adding personal touches, everyone had the chance to express their creativity and take home something uniquely their own. 💙
