Celebrating CT Tech Week!

This week, we’re proud to spotlight Hector, our CT Technologist at SHC! CT Techs play a vital role in patient care, they operate advanced imaging equipment, capture detailed scans, ensure patient comfort and safety, and provide the high-quality images our cardiologists rely on to diagnose and prevent heart disease.

We’re especially excited to celebrate Hector as we introduce our new Coronary CT, a fast, non-invasive scan that allows us to clearly see coronary artery disease and help prevent heart attacks. South Heart Clinic is the first outpatient clinic in the RGV to offer this advanced technology, and Hector is a key part of making this service exceptional for our patients.

October is Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month, and we’re proud to celebrate our amazing echo and vascular ultrasound team! 💙
Since May, our Harlingen clinic has been able to provide echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds entirely in-house, making it easier for patients to get all of their cardiovascular needs done in one place.

We’re especially grateful for Dawn, who has been with South Heart Clinic for 26 years, and we’re thrilled to welcome four new team members who joined us recently.
Their expertise helps our cardiologists diagnose and treat patients with precision and care. Thank you to our entire ultrasound team for keeping hearts healthy, one scan at a time!
