Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work with people with disabilities? It is an interesting, super-rewarding field. Unlike so many jobs out there, you can really have an impact and improve someone's quality of life. Valley Family Limited serves individuals with intellectual disabilities. We have a Day Program and 5 group homes in Harlingen. We currently have openings in the group homes. One is Saturday & Sunday 8am to 8pm. Great for students, because you get 24 hours in those two days, and can focus on school M-F. The other position is overnights on Thurs, Fri & Sat: Thurs 11pm to Fri 8am, then Fri & Sat 8pm to 8am. That's 33 hours in just 3 days! In addition, there are often other shifts you can pick up if you are looking for more hours.

To apply, come in person to 1514 S. 77 Sunshine Strip #25 (Treasure Hills Plaza behind Shipley Donuts). Bring DL/ID, Social Security card, and high school diploma or GED if you have one. If you don't have diploma/GED, bring 3 written references from people not related to you. We will provide all the training you need; you just need ❤️!

(1) FT Nursing assistant- Mon to Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm. No nursing credentials required. Person will accompany clients with IDD to doctor's appts and help in the office with filing, making appts, etc. Must have driver's license.
(1) FT Day Program Staff- Mon to Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm. Must have driver's license.
(2) PT Group Home Staff- 8am to 8pm Sat & Sun (24 hours/weekl).
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, legal to work in the US, able to pass background checks, have high school diploma/GED, or pass a competency evaluation to demonstrate ability to read/write.
Apply in person at address below (in Treasure Hills Plaza behind Shipley Donuts). Bring ID, Social Security card, and HS diploma/GED if you have it. Applications available in the office and on our website: valleyfamily.org
