We are incredibly proud to share that one of our newly hired nurses has already made a life-saving impact in our community.

While on duty, they courageously rescued a patient from their residence with an active fire dangerously close by. Thanks to their quick thinking, calm under pressure, and unwavering dedication to patient safety, a life was saved.

Because of this extraordinary act, they have been honored with the Nursing Heroism Award — a recognition truly deserved. 🏅🔥

Fevers can be stressful for parents, and while many are a normal part of your child’s body fighting an infection, some fevers should be evaluated by a provider.

- Fever lasting more than 2–3 days
- Temperature of 101°F or higher
- Sore throat, cough, chills, or fatigue
- Not eating or drinking well
- Not acting like themselves
- Any fever in infants under 3 months

If you’re checking off one or more of these, it may be time to bring your child in. A proper exam and testing help us identify the cause and guide the right treatment — avoiding unnecessary medications and helping your child feel better sooner. 💛
