Position Summary
The EVV Clerk is responsible for daily review and correction of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records. This role ensures caregiver visits are properly documented and compliant with state and payor requirements. The EVV Clerk will work closely with caregivers, office staff, and billing to resolve discrepancies quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Review and correct EVV visit exceptions in compliance with HHSC and MCO requirements.
Monitor daily EVV reports to ensure accurate caregiver clock-in/clock-out data.
Communicate with caregivers and office staff regarding missing or incorrect EVV entries.
Assist with uploading and validating EVV data in TMHP and MCO systems.
Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit purposes.
Support training efforts for caregivers on EVV processes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in home health, PHC/PAS, or clerical/administrative support preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with HHSC EVV rules and TMHP systems.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
