{7:25PM Saturday} Cold front on the way! Our cold front arrives Sunday morning, and here's what we're thinking for arrival times. We anticipate the front entering the ranchlands around 9AM, moving into the Mid and Lower Valley between 10-11AM, and clearing the coast around noon. These times are approximate. There is just a 10% chance of a shower Sunday with this front.
High temperatures Sunday will only be in the upper 70s, and that high may be reached before noon. We'll see mostly cloudy skies in the morning, but some more sunshine in the afternoon. It is going to be windy once the front moves through...winds will be from the north around 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph.
And then...it turns chilly Sunday night. By Monday morning, lows will be around 50 in Weslaco. That means places like Raymondville and the ranchlands could see lows in the lower 40s and maybe even upper 30s by early Monday morning.
