HARRAH EYE CLINIC

Updated Information Below:

As businesses continue to reopen we are still colsely monitoring the status and regulations of the COVID-19 virus. We are going to be reopening to our normal hours, and will have them placed below.

We will still be doing our best to keep up with the CDC reccommendations and will continue to adapt as needed. Cleaning, and providing a timely but careful exam for our patients will continue to be a priority.

We are still reccomending that our patients wear masks to their exams, as well as sending paperwork prior to your appointment time to ensure a fluid clinic.

Going forward our schedule will be our normal schedule, but we will be closed on Wednesdays.

** NOTE: There are some late appointments available on Tuesdays.

Attention patients, our clinic has some updated information during this time!

We are currently starting to slowly reopen our clinic, however we are
still closely monitoring the guidelines being set by the CDC and our board of
optometry. We will continue to make the necessary changes as the weeks
follow and practice the precautions even more now so that we can ensure the
safety and health of our patients and staff.

The following changes to the clinic will be made effective Monday
May 04, 2020 and will continue throughout the whole month of May unless
otherwise changed and updated.:
• We are scheduling our regular eye exams again but in a manner that is
still practicing safe distancing. We are working hard to make the
necessary spaces of thirty minutes in between each patient to practice
social distancing and allowing time for us to clean everything properly.
• We are requesting that only the patients with the eye exam come into the
clinic unless otherwise a parent is needed. We are also asking that ALL
patients come in with a mask.
• We are making it a REQUIREMENT at this time to have all patient interviews (sent by email) completed prior to the exam date, to allow a
more fluid clinic and keep people at a safe rotation while still providing
the best care possible.
• We have a new policy on our frames as well, if you come in read the
signs taped to the mirrors.

New schedule:
For the month of May we are going back to our usual schedule but the
following will be different:

• We will not be in office on Wednesday's but will take calls from
home.
• From 4:00 pm- 5:00pm we have designated times for our patients
without an appointment, but needing to purchase glasses to come in and look at them.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, Harrah Eye Clinic has decided it is in the best interest of our patients and staff to follow CDC guidelines and regulations.

The following changes will go into affect on March 30, 2020:

Since we are considered essential to the healthcare system, we have made the decision to remain open for ocular (medical) emergencies only. Emergencies could include eye injuries, eye infection, sudden floaters/flashes of light, total loss of vision, etc. All routine eye exams for the next two weeks have been rescheduled for a later time or put on a waitlist. We will continue to make schedule adjustments week by week as we continue to update ourselves on the regulations during this time.

We will be taking phone calls and text messages during our regular office hours, but from home so if we miss your call just leave us a message and we will reach out to you shortly after. On Tuesdays we will be in the clinic from 10:00am-2:00pm for curbside pick up on glasses or contact orders. Our doors will remain locked, so give us a call upon your arrival and we will bring them out to you.

We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope that things go back to normal soon, until then feel free to call us with any questions and take care of yourself!

We are closely monitoring this pandemic, we ask that you remain calm but aware of the precautions that need to be taken. If you are planning to schedule an eye appointment or already have one with us, please remember to wash your hands or sanitize, remain a reasonable distance between yourself and others, cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and throw it away, and if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been sick please give us a call and we will reschedule you for an appointment at another time so that you can rest and regain your health or seek medical attention. We will be keeping ourselves updated and sanitizing our clinic to our best abilities to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff.
