Cancer Services Program of Sullivan County The Cancer Services Program of Sullivan County offers free cancer screeings to uninsured & underinsured men and women who meet the age requirements.

The Cancer Services Program of Sullivan County is administered by Catskill Regional Medical Center, a member of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, both dedicated to providing the highest quality health care to residents. Our program offers free clinical breast exams, pelvic exam with PAP test and screening mammograms to uninsured or inderinsured women 40 and over. Additional testing is avail

able based on findings. The program also provides free colorectal screening kits for uninsured or underinsured men & women 50 years and older. Screening colonoscopies and diagnostic testing are also available on an as needed basis.

The Cancer Services Program of Sullivan County is administered by Catskill Regional Medical Center, which provides support for the program. In an effort to raise additional funds for outreach & education efforts throughout Sullivan County, CRMC has pink ribbon cards available in the Gift shop at Harris for a donation in honor of a loved one touched by breast cancer. The ribbons will be diplayed on our "Tree of Honor and Hope" on Breast Cancer Awareness Day at CRMC on 10/28/13. If anyone is intesting in assisting with ribbon donations at their school or place or business, please call Fran at 845-794-3300 ex.2186. Please share this with your friends and family. October has arrived and the familiar signs of fall are here. The majestic trees of the Catskills are brilliant in shades of orange, yellow and red. The pumpkins, corn stalks and mums are abundant. And so is the color pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the pink ribbon has come to serve as a reminder for many women to get screened for breast cancer. Early screening can save your life. And so can a healthy diet, exercise and not smoking. Please take the time to take care of yourselves - October is a perfect time to be screened. so speak to your health care providers now.

What a busy weekend for Cancer Services Outreach! Please join Ruth and friends at the Callicoon Street Fair on Saurday 7/27 and at Riverfest in Narrowsburg on Sunday 7/28. She'll have lots of information to share and CRMC giveaways. Both events are worth the trip!

Anyone up for a day at the lake? The Town of Cochecton will be hosting their 5th annual "Day at the Lake" at Lake Huntingon this Saturday, 7/13. The festivities begin at 10:00 and run to 7:00 pm. Come visit Ruth at the Cancer Services tent while enjoying the craft fair, games, firemen's parade, car show and live entertainment.
