30,000 eggs and counting… now that’s dedication 🥚🍫

Seniors at Chambers Hill United Methodist Church are hard at work this season, coming together each week to create chocolate eggs for Easter—and they’ve already made an incredible 30,000 so far!

The Ecumenical Retirement Community Sales Team had the pleasure of treating this amazing group to lunch, sharing time, conversation and appreciation for all the care and effort that goes into this sweet tradition.

A whole lot of heart (and chocolate) goes into something truly special.

Love, laughter and a great time all around ❤️

Last month’s Valentine’s Day celebration at Ecumenical Retirement Community was one to remember! The event brought everyone together for an evening filled with great food, refreshing drinks, and even better company.

Smiles, conversations and plenty of festive fun made it a celebration full of sweet moments and lasting memories.

Two generations, one meaningful afternoon. 💛

Students from the Nursing Foundations program at Dauphin County Technical School spent time at Ecumenical Retirement Community interviewing residents as part of their Life Stage curriculum. The conversations were filled with stories, wisdom, and plenty of smiles as students learned firsthand from those who have lived it.

The visit also included a little giving back—students rolled up their sleeves to make PB&J sandwiches for community members in need. Learning, connection and kindness all in one visit… now that’s a lesson that lasts a lifetime. 🥪✨

Current juniors from the DC-Tech Nursing Foundations Program visited us to interview our residents. 💛 These interactions provide valuable learning experiences for future nurses while giving residents a chance to share their stories and connect with the next generation of caregivers.😊
