🚑 CEM–LifeTeam Paramedic Program (02) in Action! 🌊

This week, our paramedic students are diving into the EMS Operations component of their program — a crucial part of their education that integrates advanced life support knowledge with specialized rescue operations, including Water Rescue, Vehicle Rescue, Rope Rescue, Tactical Medicine, and more.

💦 During this phase, students completed basic water life safety training, focusing on the management and rescue of patients involved in drowning and water-related emergencies.

A huge thank you to the West Shore YMCA for graciously allowing our students to utilize your pool facilities to enhance their hands-on training and real-world readiness.

🚑 Exciting News for LifeTeam EMS! 🚑

We’re proud to announce the arrival of our brand-new Zoll Zenix Cardiac Monitors — officially FDA approved on September 29, 2025, and delivered to our organization on October 7, 2025!

Community LifeTeam is honored to be one of the first EMS agencies in Pennsylvania to receive these innovative monitors — 45 of the first 500 distributed statewide. These devices will replace our retiring fleet of EKG monitors and further enhance the care we provide to our communities.

Over the next few months, our staff will complete both online and hands-on training to ensure they’re fully prepared to use this advanced technology. The official deployment across all LifeTeam divisions is planned for December 2025.

We’re excited to take this next step in advancing prehospital cardiac care and continuing our commitment to excellence in emergency medical services. 💙

🚒 Building Partnerships Through Training 🚁

This past Thursday, September 18th, 2025, LifeTeam EMS had the privilege of working alongside STAT MedEvac and the Newberry Township Fire Department during a Landing Zone and Training Course.

Our teams collaborated on patient care simulations that required seamless coordination between all three agencies. These training opportunities not only sharpen our skills but also strengthen the partnerships that are so vital when real emergencies occur.

We’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow responders in providing the highest level of care and service to our community.

🔵Honoring the Fallen🔵

We mourn alongside our community as we recognize the loss of three dedicated officers of the Northern York County Regional Police Department: Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser. Their service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting the people of York County will never be forgotten.

Our team is deeply saddened by the tragic event that occurred on September 17th within the jurisdiction of the Northern York County Regional Police Department.

LifeTeam EMS works side by side with the dedicated officers of Northern York County Regional Police on a daily basis. Their safety and well-being are always close to our hearts, and this loss is felt across all of us who serve the public.

On behalf of everyone at LifeTeam EMS, we extend our sincere condolences to the families, friends, and fellow officers affected. We stand with our partners in law enforcement during this difficult time and keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
