Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire onboarding.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, keeping up to date on changes and providing guidance to management.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
HR Policies & Procedures:
Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs to promote employee growth and development.
HR Systems & Reporting:
Maintain employee records in the HRIS, generate reports, and analyze HR data to provide insights to management.
General HR Support: Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leadership, contributing to a positive work environment and organizational culture.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
2+ years of experience in an HR Specialist role or similar capacity.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices. Experience with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
Certifications (Preferred):
PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
