We are still buzzing from a great two days at the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society’s ‘New Age of Arthroplasty’ meeting last week! It was great to meet with local surgeons about Arthrex’s developments in the Arthroplasty space, and we look forward to being back in the future!

Last night, we held a lab in our Lehigh Valley office for the local St. Luke's podiatry residents. We find it just as important to hold labs for the future podiatrists as it is current ones, as they continue to gain invaluable knowledge into the anatomy, surgical techniques, and more.

The focus of the lab was to assist them in their continued education of anatomy and procedures, as well as giving them experience using some Arthrex devices.

Last week Novus participated in the The Milton Hershey School’s healthcare career exploration camp, hosted by the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. It was a great week of events capped by our Arthroplasty manager and MHS alum, Michael Schrader, being honored to deliver the Keynote address to the students.

Education is a core value for the Novus team. Last night, at the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, Novus was grateful to welcome Dr. Nicholas J Avallone, M.D. to share his knowledge and experience using Arthrex's All-Inside ACL technique. His insightful presentation was collaborative, and the lab was a great learning experience for all in attendance.

This past Tuesday, Novus held a five station podiatry lab for local residents and surgeons at our Lancaster Headquarters. During the evening, we were able to assist in practicing procedures including InternalBrace, Plantar Lapidus, Achilles SpeedBridge Repair, and much more.

During the Novus Agency Focused Meeting last month, the Novus team was able to spend time with Arthrex’s Founder and CEO Reinhold Schmieding discussing the past, present, and future of the Arthrex and the role Novus will play in it. Reinhold founded Arthrex in 1981 with the unwavering mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better, which is a commitment Novus is proud to embrace today.

It was an MSK weekend for the Novus Team! This past Saturday, our technology consultants were able to demo our Linear and Curvilinear handheld ultrasound scanners to doctors from Harrisburg area, showing them firsthand the benefits of these units.

Two weeks ago, members of the Novus team attended our Agency Focused Meeting at the ArthrexHeadquarters in Naples, Florida. It was a great opportunity and experience for some of our team to communicate with Arthrex product managers and senior leadership about upcoming innovations and developments in the industry.
