June and July are often designated as Fireworks Safety Month to raise awareness about the dangers of fireworks, particularly to the eyes.
Here are some tips for staying safe during fireworks displays:
Attend Professional Displays
Keep a Safe Distance
Wear Safety Glasses
Never allow children to handle fireworks
Be Aware of Sparklers: Sparklers can burn very hot and should be handled with caution.
If you are injured, seek immediate medical attention.
