One of the best things about being a farrier is the community you step into. Thanks Troy Heath, Charlie Sayer CF, and Jason Peacock, for donating their time and resources to help get client horses caught up while I’m down at out, and thanks for all the helpers you brought with you. Thank you Tania Luker-Straub for opening your facility for us to haul in, and thank you to all my amazing clients who were willing and able to haul over and get there horses taken care of as well.

Attention all clients:
On August 21 while finishing up a foot I had a horse take its foot back off the post aggressively and managed to fracture my knee in two places. I am still waiting on getting an MRI to determine if I also tore my acl and definitely whether or not I also broke my hip. With that said I am currently unable to work and don’t yet know how long it will be before I am able to return to work.

I am diligently working on getting all of your horses taken care of as quickly as possible by some amazing colleagues and ask for you patience and understanding navigating all the moving pieces to get everyone taken care of. Thank you.

Toe clip Tuesdays a thing in the trade, but what about therapeutic Tuesdays! Thankful for the ability to provide this horses hoof capsule and lower limb with the rigid stability it needs to recover from her injury.
