Cincinnati Nurses Honor Guard

Today members of the Cincinnati Nurses Honor Guard had the privilege of attending the Flightless Honor Flight Welcoming Home event for veterans who are unable to travel to Washington, D.C.

We had a wonderful turnout of nurses who came to stand, show respect, and welcome these incredible veterans home. It was truly an honor to be part of such a meaningful and moving event. Seeing the smiles and being able to thank these heroes for their service made it a very rewarding day for all of us. 🇺🇸💙

Thank you to the organizers and to the veterans who have given so much for our country. It was a day we will not forget.

The Nurses Honor Guard was recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution with an Award for Excellence in Community Service, along with a generous monetary donation to support our mission.

This recognition means so much to us, as we strive to honor nurses who have devoted their lives to caring for others.

Our Founder Brenda Heile, President Norah Bertschy, and Secretary Barb Becker were grateful to attend the ceremony and accept this award on behalf of all our dedicated members.

A heartfelt thank you to the DAR for their kindness, generosity, and support. Your donation will help us continue to serve families in Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties during their most tender moments.

We are truly humbled and inspired to continue this important work. 💙🕊️
