Sweet moments at Harrison Trail! 🍪💚

Our Director of Food Services, Chloe, had some very special helpers stop by. Her kids, Suzie and her brother Jack, spent time passing out Girl Scout Cookies to our residents and sharing plenty of smiles along the way.

Acts of kindness like this make our community feel even more like family. Thank you, Suzie and Jack, for brightening everyone’s day and spreading a little extra sweetness! 🍪✨

There’s nothing like a little goat therapy to brighten the day! 🐐💛

Our residents had an absolute blast spending time with the adorable goats brought to us by Dream to Reality Farm. Goat Therapy & Livestock Rehabilitation -nonprofit, thanks to the kindness of our friends at Queen City Hospice. From smiles and laughter to plenty of pets and cuddles, these sweet visitors brought so much joy to our community.

We are so grateful for partners who help make days like this possible!

Our Health Center and Assisted Living residents had the sweetest adventure touring the incredible Maverick Chocolate Co.! 🍫✨

From learning how cacao beans are sourced and transformed into rich, handcrafted chocolate to smelling (and tasting!) the delicious creations along the way—this experience was truly a treat for the senses. Residents loved seeing the artistry and care that goes into every bar, and of course, sampling a few favorites didn’t hurt either!

Outings like this are such a special way to stay curious, connected, and create new memories together. Thank you to the amazing team at Maverick for welcoming us and making our day extra sweet! 🤎

💗✨ A Beautiful Evening at Legacy Lane ✨💗
Our Valentine’s Family Dinner was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments.
Residents proudly helped prepare the meal — from peeling the parsnips 🥕 to welcoming their families to the table. We enjoyed fresh salad, braised beef, roasted vegetables, Chef Chloe’s special cake 🎂, and a fun ice cream bar 🍨 to end the night.
As families gathered together, their pride was shining — and so were the smiles around the room.

Last Friday, we had the absolute pleasure of taking Pat on a very special adventure for her Live A Dream — a Small-Town Bookstore Crawl! 📚✨

Anyone who knows Pat knows her love for reading runs deep. Books have always been a source of comfort, joy, and adventure for her, so being able to spend the day exploring charming local bookstores and adding new treasures to her personal collection was truly heartwarming. Seeing her light up as she browsed shelves and discovered new stories was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful these moments are.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Novel Hearts, Spire Book & Coffee Co., and Enchanted Novelties for welcoming us with open arms and making us feel right at home. Your kindness helped make Pat’s dream day even more special.

Our residents have been hard at work preparing for our Legacy Lane Family Valentine’s Dinner — and the pride on their faces says it all. From creating beautiful handmade centerpieces 🌸 to carefully cutting parsnips for our special meal 🥕 and even preparing sweet chocolates for Chef Chloe 🍫, every detail is coming straight from the heart.
This dinner is more than just an event — it’s a meaningful experience. Our residents are helping cook, decorate, and prepare a special evening for the people they love most. There is something so powerful about giving, creating, and celebrating together.
We cannot wait to welcome families for this very special night. 💞

An evening of elegance and timeless charm… our Winter Gala Theme Dinner was simply exquisite.

Guests were welcomed with a refined cocktail hour featuring Ruby Fizz and artfully arranged charcuterie boards, as the soft, graceful sounds of Patty’s harp music drifted beautifully through our halls.

Dinner commenced with a heartfelt toast from Chef Chloe, marking the first Theme Dinner of the year in the most distinguished fashion.

We are grateful for the residents, staff, and families who make evenings like this so meaningful. It is a joy to create moments of beauty and celebration together. ✨

We had a very special visitor at Harrison Trail Health Campus — sweet Thelma from the Franklin County Indiana Humane Society 🐾💕

Thelma made herself right at home with our residents, showing off her biscuit-making skills and soaking up all the love and attention. There’s something so special about the comfort of a warm, purring kitty in your lap — and Thelma delivered plenty of snuggles and smiles!

Animal visits always bring out the brightest grins, spark sweet memories, and fill our halls with extra joy. Thank you to the Franklin County Humane Society for sharing this precious girl with us. We think she may have found a few new best friends 🐱💛
