Throwback Thursday 💙
These photos and keepsakes belonged to Evelyn Campbell, RN, who began her nursing career in the OB department at Boone County Hospital in 1962 and retired in 1992 after 30 years of service. During her time here, the hospital grew and evolved, eventually becoming what we know today as North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
Evelyn spent three decades caring for families and welcoming new babies into the world. Her pins and newspaper clippings reflect a lifetime of steady, meaningful work in our community.
Evelyn is the grandmother of Amanda Cope, APRN, FNP-C, a provider here at NARMC Internal Medicine Clinic. Amanda recently shared these treasures to honor her grandmother’s years of service. It is a quiet reminder that care in our community often spans generations, both in the families we serve and in the people who choose to serve here.
