Two Toes Up Reflexology and Massage, PLLC Two Toes Up is owned and operated by Christie S. Carpenter, MTI, and has been established since 2007 I don't do a lot of spa techniques.

I'm considered a "working person's" type of massage therapist. But I do use a lot of elbow grease. I enjoy working on people who are hurting, work a lot, are just a little sore, or have unique medical issues that require special training to handle. I've been a hand and foot reflexologist since 2003, a massage therapist since 2007, a Reiki Master since 2008, and a certified lymphedema therapist sin

ce 2013. I've had the highest level of oncology massage training that Arkansas provides and the highest level of lymphedema therapy training in the United States. My preference is deep tissue massage, but I can also do Swedish massage, oncology massage , manual lymph drainage, reflexology, trigger point, and sports massage. I can also do Lomi Lomi, but that is a completely different price structure and not for everyone. My prices are based on the amount of time you want to be worked on...not the technique I'm using.

30 mins is $50, 1 hour is $65, 1.5 hour is $80. These prices go up $3-$4 if you pay with plastic (due to the fees I'm charged). Gift certificates are available and are good for 3 months.

Finished the Golden Driller half marathon #119 last Saturday. It was unreasonably cool....but the wind was terrible.

Managed it. Grateful for the cooler temps.

Headed out for a few days to play dulcimer in Mtn View.

Out of the office Weds thru Friday, April 22nd-24th, 2026. Back at work Monday, April 27th, 2026.

I try hard not to laugh when someone tells me they're 50 and old....advising me to watch out for things that happen when you get older.

Kids, I'm 50.

Just ran half marathon #118, and a 5k the following day at the Hogeye race series in Springdale, Arkansas, last weekend.

There was an order gentleman, with a pacemaker, who ran and finished the 10k, yesterday. 10k is 6.2 miles.

Ain't nobody old out here, except mentally old and making excuses.

Quit using excuses to stay stuck or decrepit.

Yeah I'm sore.

Yes, I'm at work with some massage to do today.

Yes, the soreness will go away in a day or two.

No, my accomplishments won't go away because I'm sore or older.

This is the list Arkansas massage therapy schools with approved massage apprenticeship programs.

I am going to strongly encourage anyone wanting to get massage training, go to an established, approved Arkansas massage therapy school.

While the apprenticeship program seems dreamy, it takes longer to complete, and you may be in a job/postion trying to pay back a debt, longer than you want.

An established massage school has a start and end date, you pay off your tuition before you're released to take the MBlex, so you don't graduate with debt, pass the MBlex and now you can work where you want...for the price you want.

Someone telling you to contact them for training, but no number is listed, no school listed, no start and end date, beware of that listing being a legitimate entity with your best interests in mind.

Did you know, if you're healthy enough, I can do cupping and scraping on you? Scraping doesnt have to be to the bone, unless it's necessary for something you've asked me to dig out.
