Two Toes Up is owned and operated by Christie S. Carpenter, MTI, and has been established since 2007 I don't do a lot of spa techniques.

I'm considered a "working person's" type of massage therapist. But I do use a lot of elbow grease. I enjoy working on people who are hurting, work a lot, are just a little sore, or have unique medical issues that require special training to handle. I've been a hand and foot reflexologist since 2003, a massage therapist since 2007, a Reiki Master since 2008, and a certified lymphedema therapist since 2013. I've had the highest level of oncology massage training that Arkansas provides and the highest level of lymphedema therapy training in the United States. My preference is deep tissue massage, but I can also do Swedish massage, oncology massage , manual lymph drainage, reflexology, trigger point, and sports massage. I can also do Lomi Lomi, but that is a completely different price structure and not for everyone. My prices are based on the amount of time you want to be worked on...not the technique I'm using.

30 mins is $50, 1 hour is $65, 1.5 hour is $80. These prices go up $3-$4 if you pay with plastic (due to the fees I'm charged). Gift certificates are available and are good for 3 months.

Massage rates are changing.

If you want to stay at the current rate, you've got to have a monthly appt that YOU KEEP, leap frogging will not be tolerated.

Meaning if you're not currently on my book for October, call/text me at 870.688.7787 ASAP to get on the book.

If you already have a standing appt every month, I'm not referring to you...so don't panic or meltdown.

You have control over how much you pay for a session with your payment source and having at least a monthly appt.

I'm about to have several national approved classes in the next few days, meaning I will be teaching as much as possible when not massaging.

Just got back from being on the road teaching this weekend.

Had a good 3 days of class in Ft Smith/Barling, teaching manual lymph drainage and Cupping part 1.

The black skull purse is available on Amazon for a reasonable price.

We needed a guinea pig on Sunday during Cupping part 1, and Superstar Robbie donated himself for research to the ladies of cupping part 1.

We learned alot over 3 days and had a great time.

Now that I'm back at work, I've got some time this week, Monday thru Friday, July 14th-18th, if you want in for a massage.

Massage friends......

Many of you know I was accepted into a master's degree program....I withdrew from it yesterday.

Why would I do that?

I see why people get into student debt to their eyeballs....took me 10 yrs to pay off my bachelor's degree I earned in 1998.

The cost of school has almost quadrupled since then....and I'm not taking out anymore loans.

I have plenty of debt I'm still paying off from stupid decisions pre and post covid....

And I just didn't want to sell my soul, life, and free time to an academic program...plus I couldn't see the total cost for class until 2 weeks prior to the start....nevermind the hidden fees I discovered 10 sub pages in yesterday. Sorry but why are you charging out of state tuition for online classes...and then proctoring fees from $15-$75 per test taken in those online classes? No thanks.

I'd rather deal with the debt I know, not the debt that will change daily.

Why did I say this on my business page?

To encourage you to send your kids old enough for college to a local/community college. Ask for an itemized bill. When I went to ASUMH for mortuary school, I knew the minute I registered how much tuition would be and all associated fees. I could make payments the entire semester without interest accuring. I paid cash the 2nd time around for college.

Don't just throw your kids at FAFSA and say "good luck"! Also, don't agree to a parent plus loan.

Higher education is always good if it helps your job pay you more money....don't go into it thinking "I'll get a good job BECAUSE I got this degree. "
I fell for that too.

My massage license that took 9 months and $4000 to get makes me more money than any of the 3 degrees I have. Sometimes the trade jobs/certifications/degrees are better. You've got a job the next day instead of needing more years of school.
