Tree of Life Healing Arts is a holistic wellness practice founded in 2010 and specializes in therapeutic massage working with families navigating through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. The practitioners are husband-wife duo Danielle and Mike Murphy, both Licensed Massage Therapists. We offer services at our Harrison office located within the clinical practice of Phelps Midwifery. In-home massage services are also available throughout Westchester County. Danielle supports clients additionally one-on-one with classes including Infant Massage, Childbirth Preparation, Newborn Care, and Lactation Basics as well as Lactation Counseling. Complementing these services, Mike also offers assisted stretching, tension relief via the Hypervolt massage gun and far-infrared therapy via the Richway Biomat. Just back from a beautiful bodywork training in California…The Body Song Infinity Wave modality! What an amazing approach to energy work and integration with acupressure and myofacial work! Looking forward to integrating this with our clients!

We are so excited to announce the greatly awaited birth of our second daughter sweet baby Melody Victoria Lee Murphy! Born at home at almost 40 weeks….into mama’s hands at 1am on March 9th! We are all doing great and are blissfully resting and enjoying our new family of five! We are so grateful to our amazing birth team and all the love and support we have received along the way!

Hi LMTs! The next Advanced Prenantal Massage Certification is happening on January 9,10 &11 from 9am -3pm in Harrison NY! 18 CEs NYS & NCBTMB Approved!

Learn the art of Prenatal Massage! Whether you are looking to develop your practice or just build confidence in working with prenatal clients, this workshop is for you! Prenatal massage is a beautiful heart centered practice. The pregnant client is naturally transitioning through shifts in musculoskeletal alignment and preparing for the welcoming of new life. In this three day workshop students will gain a deeper understanding of the physiology of pregnancy, understand postural changes, and learn techniques that offer relief and support for the client's changing body. Positioning and comfort measures will be discussed as well as contraindications. This workshop offers a caring and nurturing learning environment for new to experienced Licensed Massage Therapists.

The first day of the workshop will be an entire day of lecture and presentation with breaks and time for lunch. The second day will consist of a thorough prenatal massage demonstration on a local 3rd trimester pregnant client. Afterwards you will have ample time to practice the techniques on each other. On the third day you will each have the opportunity to practice on a local pregnant volunteer! I know you are interested in working with this population and what better way to fine-tune your pregnancy massage techniques than working on pregnant clients in a supportive and nurturing educational environment!
