Today I'm so excited to share the new Power Health and Performance brand!

As much as I loved our red and black branding with our signature lightning bolt, as a company that is so focused on holistic health and our mission to elevate the health and consciousness of people and the planet I wanted to align our brand with the vibrancy of the colors of the earth and THE source of all POWER and energy on the planet, the Sun.

This is the start of a new era for PHP where we'll be expanding beyond providing only individualized holistic health, performance, and fitness coaching to also providing organic food products/supplements and much more widespread inspiration, education, and guidance to men and women all over the world through our social media channels.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing another exciting announcement with more details about this expansion, talk to you then!

Have you been keeping up with the Glute Bridge Progressions from the last 2 weeks? 🤔

If yes, here is the 3rd and final progression of this series.

If you master this one, you can be confident you have developed a rock solid foundation of glute and hip strength that will empower you to progress into more advanced hip dominant exercises like Deadlifts and Hip Thrusts.

Just like the last 2 weeks, IF YOU READ THIS you have automatically committed yourself to complete 1-3 sets of 12 repetitions of the Advanced Leg Lock Bridge everyday until next Tuesday!

In order of importance, we rank The 6 Foundations of Health and Performance as:

1) Thinking
2) Breathing
3) Sleeping
4) Hydration
5) Nutrition
6) Movement

In the context of creating your best health and physical body, the first and most important component of thinking is maintaining focus on the fact that your health is your most valuable asset.

When you truly value your health on this level, you will naturally be driven to consistently execute the more strategic components of the thinking foundation:

1) Setting specific, measurable health goals.
2) Gaining true clarity on why your health goals are important to you.
3) Fully committing to your health goals.
4) Acquiring the best knowledge within foundations.
5) Executing on the best action plan within the 6 foundations.

Once you've executed these components, not only will you achieve the health and physical body you desire, you'll sustain it for life.

Do you ever feel tension built up in your muscles on the front of the thigh?

If so, you'll want to add foam rolling the Quadriceps and Hip Flexor muscles into your mobility practice as its a great way to decrease this tension and increase recovery of these tissues.

This area often becomes excessively tense and restricted which can even cause aches and pains in the knees.

There can be many reasons why.

Most commonly, its due to sitting for long periods of time and not practicing the proper mobility drills to counter balance.

And/or from a lack of proper training of the lower body and poor movement mechanics.

Ultimately, if you pair this work with the proper mobility and strength exercises you can effectively correct and prevent this tension and restriction.

We share many of those strength exercises in our videos so be sure to check those out.

Last Tuesday we shared The Glute Bridge which is a great exercise to practice after this!
