Employee Spotlight: Sheryl Powers, Admin Assistant – Resident Services
Sheryl joined Sunnyside in June of 2021. She is the full-time receptionist in the Corson Lobby. Sheryl shared that she has learned a tremendous amount from the residents that live at Sunnyside and enjoys talking to them daily. She has learned more at this job than she ever knew she would, and she appreciates adding these bits of information to her toolbox.
Recently, Sheryl has had to temporarily move her entire command post to the other side of the building during a significant renovation of the Corson Lobby. Sheryl also says she has enjoyed meeting all the employees and meeting even more now that she is working on the other side of the building.
Sheryl is always warm and welcoming to all of the people who come through the doors at Sunnyside, and we are thankful that she reflects the true Spirit of Sunnyside.
