Now accepting new patients Spirit Reins is located on a 148-acre farm.

Spirit Reins is a non-profit organization providing speech therapy services both within a traditional clinical setting as well as incorporating Hippotherapy as a treatment strategy. Hippotherapy is a physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy treatment strategy that utilizes equine movement as part of an integrated intervention program to achieve functional outcomes. Hippotherapy is provided by certified professionals in their respective fields: Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Patients receive therapy under a covered arena with unique sensory stations, as well as along a beautiful nature trail through the woods. Our mission is to create a unique rehabilitative experience for individuals with disabilities using the horse as a tool to improve their confidence, self-esteem, and quality of life. We utilize the human-horse bond to improve motor, sensory, speech, and behavioral/social responses in individuals with physical, mental, emotional, or communication challenges. Spirit Reins has served individuals with disabilities from our community and surrounding areas since 2009.

⭐️Support our fall fundraiser by registering for the 9th Annual Run for the Reins 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast Saturday, September 13th.

Our program would not be possible without these beautiful ladies! They know horses and know what is needed to make our patients’ sessions successful. We are so GRATEFUL!!
