SLEEP is essential for life, and we spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping.... some people thinking that’s wasting their life!?! But If asked about the roles of sleep, most people can list a few examples as restoration of sleepiness and fatigue. Warming up your body as taking bath before 90mins (shower 30 mins before)of your bedtime.
The hypothalamus regulates your body temperature (we have skin temperature and core temperature) each 24hr cycle. During the normal human circadian rhythm, sleep occurs when the core temperature is dropping. Your body will seek homeostasis after taking a bath/shower as the rate of temperature change and body heat loss is maximal.
