Our Beginning Yoga community inspires us to add more evening classes back onto the schedule, now that spring is within our sights. In addition to Tuesday nights at 6 pm, would you like to see a Wednesday or a Thursday for another evening offering?

We still have a few spaces left for this Tuesday series as well, if you’d like to join us. Just reach out, and we’ll set your space for you so you can just walk right in!

Meet Alisa Cardenas, our new friend and the Founder of Howl at the Moon Sauna Co., whose generous partnership makes our Spring Break Sauna residency possible with The Monarch in Hart. Come experience The Wildflower cedar sauna sessions as we welcome Oceana County into sauna culture, and celebrate the transition to spring.

When asked about why this area held special interest in a partnership opportunity, Alisa shared the following.

“I have such a deep love for this part of the Lakeshore, Oceana County specifically. I’ve spent many of my summers as a child here and truthfully it is home for me. There’s something about this part of the Lakeshore that already feels like it’s asking for this. The long winters here settle in deeper than most people are prepared for making summer feels like it’s something they’ve earned. West Michigan already understands contrast. So bringing sauna culture here is about recognizing what’s familiar and building on it. Right now this might look small but that’s how good things start. To welcome sauna culture along the lakeshore, it just needs space to take root- and we are so thankful for The Monarch for providing us (all of us) that space.”

Crawling through midweek? Your kids probably are, too! Gift them the joy of creative movement with Hip Hop on Wednesday. We have just a few spots open in the 5 pm session for the spring term. Email us, and we’ll handle advance registration, so they can just dive right in when they arrive. Always remember to send them with uncolored/unsweetened water and dressed comfortably to get warm and shake a tail feather!

Two weeks from today, the Wildflower Sauna arrives via Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. to our sweet little hometown wellness hub, at The Monarch in Hart.

Along with most of West Michigan, all studio classes are canceled today. There will be no preschool dance with Creative Kids Movement Network- Grand Rapids & West MI this morning, and no Vinyasa Flow yoga this evening.

Update *Beginning Yoga Series (a few spots left!) at 6 pm with Mandy J. Yoga will run Tuesday night, but 3/17 daytime classes are canceled, also.

Learning first position with Miss Melissa Sayles of Creative Kids Movement Network- Grand Rapids & West MI preschool dance! There are still spaces open at 11 AM on Mondays for the rest of this session. (Stay tuned for more exciting Monday news for the early childhood age range coming in mid April.)

Wondering how to get your kiddo started?

Just show up for class and Miss Melissa will take it from there! Please help us spread the word about her other classes on Friday afternoons, more preschool movement at 3 PM and Elementary dance at 4 PM and Hip Hop for Kids (ages 6-9 & 10-14) on Wednesdays. (One space open at 5 pm class!;)
