Every marriage needs a little bit of help. Sometimes a lot. Commit to your spouse and family by participating in a Retrouvaille Weekend. Our series of workshops in the Hartford, Connecticut, area on Sept. 5-7 will help rebuild communication skills, open the door to forgiveness and increase trust between you. In addition, the program offers weekly follow-up sessions for the following six Saturdays. With hard work and continued effort, you will see progress and gain hope. Hello Everyone: Please consider supporting Retrouvaille of CT and Western MA this Giving Tuesday (December 2nd).

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

This year, we are asking our community to join the movement by supporting our Fundraising Event and hit our goal of raising $6,000 for our Retrouvaille community.

The funds are needed to continue to operate the community and support our hurting couples that we serve each weekend we hold. Specifically, some of the items we will utilize funds raised for will include:

> Purchasing a new, more modernized audio system for use on weekends and at our annual retreat.

> Purchasing a new video projector for use on our weekends and at our annual retreat.

> Purchasing marketing materials for church outreach packets and more, including brochures, posters, tear pads etc.

> Funding scholarships for couples unable to afford the full cost of the weekend.

We ask that you pray on this event with your spouse and agree on a donation amount if you are able. You also don’t need to wait until December 2nd to donate, but that is the event we are looking to mobilize our community around.

It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.

The day is celebrated on the Tuesday of Thanksgiving Weekend (after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday).
