For All Ages

For All Ages Empowering people to build real connections that transform health and life outcomes. Join us. 🌟 Our vision. Connecting generations changes lives and communities.

Our vision is a healthy community that is connected across generations. We're working to end loneliness and ageism through intergenerational programs and events. More than 60% of Americans are lonely. That's 200 million people. And in Connecticut alone, that's 2.1 million people. Those same people lack the opportunity for meaningful in-person social interactions on a regular basis. Our communities have become segregated by age over the past 50 years, which has resulted in an increase in isolation and loneliness among older adults. And young adults are now feeling more lonely than older adults. Reuniting the generations improves the health and well-being of individuals of all ages and increases community cohesion. And it changes perceptions of aging. We invite you to join us on our journey to connect the generations and inspire action to end loneliness and ageism. Follow our facebook and Instagram pages, volunteer with us, and/or donate to help our mission. See www.forallages.org for more information.

🌟 Setting Intentions for 2026 🌟

At last night’s board meeting, everyone shared a word to guide their year - a word that reflects what matters most to them in 2026.

These powerful words represent our commitment to balance, purpose, and growth in our work and our lives.

Just two days until Christmas, and our hearts are full. ❤️🎄✨

Comfort & Joy Holiday Cards are finding their way into the hands of older adults and veterans, delivered with care by volunteers like Caroline and made with love by YOU - our extraordinary Comfort & Joy card makers.

Received with smiles, tears, and deep appreciation, this is what community looks like when people choose kindness and center connection.

Happy holidays, everyone! 🌟

🌟 This fall, University of Saint Joseph Physician Assistant clinical students brought The Good Life series to The McAuley, engaging residents in meaningful conversation and connection. Last week, the series wrapped up, leaving smiles and lasting impact on everyone involved.

Deb Bibbins was proud to serve as an advisor, supporting the students as they explored how connection and community enhance health and well-being.

We believe it is essential for future clinicians to include the principles of social health when they see patients. These students are helping to set that standard. 💛

Today, we are giving a shout-out to two incredible Community Champions who helped expand the reach of the Comfort & Joy Card Drive: Quinnipiac University student Genesis Camejo and Simsbury resident Brecon Morgan. Throughout the fall, they worked behind the scenes to grow card-making partnerships and delivery locations, making it possible to reach even more neighbors. ✨

Thank you, Genesis and Brecon, for helping spread comfort and joy to some of our most vulnerable neighbors. ✌
