Here at Lucas Angels, we are all about empowering independence for seniors. We know that caring for a loved one cannot be easy. So here are some tips to promote independence:

1. Home adjustments.
• Such things as grab bars, nonslip mats, and good lighting in certain areas can promote independence.
2. Encouraging physical activity.
• Things such as yoga or walking groups can help promote independence.
• Balance and strength training as well to reduce the risk of falls
3. Supporting daily living skills provided data tools.
• Easy grib utensils or large button phones
• Teach them how to use meal delivery apps or grocery services ensure them to manage small tasks independently with minimum assistance.
