GriefShare is a free grief-support group that features biblical concepts for healing. You will find a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Our Local GriefShare Support Group will begin with a new 13 week session on Monday, August 23rd. Our group will meet consecutively each Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m., August 23-November 22, at the Sardis Baptist Church Family Life Center. A meal is served at each session, free of charge. This month in 1996 we installed our on-site Crematory. It was the first one between Atlanta GA and Greenville SC. Over the last twenty-five years we have been honored to serve as the service provider for several family-owned funeral homes in the area when their families have asked for cremation and have been also honored to serve numerous families of our own at our Hartwell and Lavonia Chapels.

In 2020, we added on to our existing building, giving the Crematory its own wing to better serve the communities we serve. Thank You for all the support over the last twenty-five years and we look forward to serve with all those years of experience for many more years.

For many, the Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer season, and we're taking the opportunity to dip our toes in the water and play in the sand! We're also walking along the beach and finding some lovely, smooth stones to decorate in memory of our loved ones.

Painting stones is a wonderful, meditative activity, and the result is a one-of-a-kind tribute to a loved one. Paint pens (we used Posca) make this a simple, do-anywhere project, so you can create your masterpieces while you relax and soak up the 🌞!
