Cardiac Rehabilitation at St. Aloisius is designed to help patients safely rebuild strength, improve heart health, and regain confidence after a heart-related event or procedure.

Our cardiac rehab program focuses on:

✔ Education and encouragement
✔ Ongoing support from a caring, local team

Cardiac rehab is available with a referral from your provider and plays an important role in long-term heart health and recovery.

Many people over the age of 60 believe depression is a normal part of aging. We’re here to tell you, it’s not. Our new 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 program is designed to help older adults, typically aged 65 and over, who are experiencing a mental health challenge.

The staff at 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬helps patients develop the communication and coping skills needed to live healthier and happier. Anyone can make a referral to our program, including health providers, family and friends. For more information call us at 𝟕𝟎𝟏-𝟑𝟐𝟒-𝟓𝟏𝟒𝟒

Teesha spent several years in Long Term Care before moving into a supporting role for Med-Surg and the Emergency Room, where her experience and compassion continued to make a meaningful impact on both patients and coworkers.

Today we’re happy to recognize Judy for 15 years of service and for the creativity and energy she brings to our team. After working as a CNA and CMA, Judy recently joined the Activities Team—and we are so grateful she did!

Judy is truly a breath of fresh air, always coming up with new ideas and finding ways to make things happen. When she discovers a game or activity that residents and staff love, she runs with it—often reimagining and creating activities using supplies we already have in entirely new ways.

Her strengths in structure and organization were especially valuable during the busy holiday season, and her musical talents have been a wonderful addition as well. From leading engaging sing-alongs to curating playlists for staff to use when she’s not here, Judy helps ensure music events are successful and enjoyable for everyone.

🎉 Employee Spotlight: Celebrating 15 Years with Sarah! 🎉

Today we are proud to recognize Sarah for her 15 years of service with SMP Health – St. Aloisius. While her official milestone is 15 years, Sarah’s journey with us actually spans closer to 20 years, with a brief break along the way—and we are grateful she found her way back to our team.

For the past 7 years, Sarah has been an invaluable member of our Laboratory team as a Phlebotomist, bringing skill, reliability, and compassion to everything she does. Over the years, she has also served in several roles, including CNA and Restorative Aid, and has truly earned the title of “Jack of All Trades.”

Sarah is deeply appreciated not only by her coworkers, but by the patients she cares for each day. Her willingness to step in, help behind the scenes, and support the team in countless ways does not go unnoticed.

Denise’s quiet presence brings a sense of peace and calm—whether she’s helping create low-pressure activities enjoyed by everyone or gracefully handling those moments when plans don’t go quite as expected. Her smile, laugh, and unflappable personality remind us that while activities are important, the joy, connection, and memories made along the way matter just as much.

Today we’re honored to recognize Tonia for 30 years of dedicated service to our organization. She began her career with us right out of college and has been a steady, compassionate presence ever since.

Nearly three and a half years ago, she stepped into the role of Social Services Director, bringing with her extensive experience and deep knowledge of the long-term care industry. She is highly knowledgeable in regulations and is a strong, trusted advocate for our residents.

Her commitment goes well beyond the expected—many residents and family members know they can reach her directly, and she consistently takes the time to listen, support, and respond. Her dedication and leadership have been recognized through her selection as Social Worker of the Year by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association.
