Healthy Connections was part of Lake Hamilton School District ESOL Program Lake Hamilton’s ESOL Family Night on November 18, continuing our commitment to show up for the families we serve. Our team met with parents and students to share information about our full range of services, including on-site translation support and access to providers who speak Spanish—such as pediatric physician Dr. Jeremy Porter. Events like this allow us to connect directly with multilingual families, remove barriers, and ensure every child and parent knows where to turn for trusted, community-focused care.

As we wrap up Halloween, we want to thank our Arkadelphia and De Queen clinic teams for representing Healthy Connections in their communities during local trick-or-treat events. From downtown Arkadelphia’s Main Street Trick or Treat to De Queen’s Trick or Treat on the Square, our staff helped create safe, fun spaces for families to celebrate together.

At Healthy Connections, Community is one of our three pillars—along with Compassion and Excellence—and showing up for local events like these is part of who we are. We’re proud to stand alongside our neighbors, supporting the places we call home.

Healthy Connections is proud to bring more than 25 years of trusted, compassionate healthcare to Central Arkansas with the opening of our new Conway clinic, conveniently located at 2125 College Avenue. Beginning November 10, Conway residents can visit Family Nurse Practitioner Mandi Mears, APRN, for complete primary and family medical care — including checkups, wellness visits, and care for patients of all ages. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., and walk-ins are welcome.

Many families across Arkansas are feeling the effects of recent disruptions to SNAP benefits. At Healthy Connections, we know that food insecurity impacts health and well-being, and we’re stepping up to help.

Several of our clinics now have HCI Cares Donation Stations, where you can donate non-perishable food items—or take what you need. All collected items will go to local organizations providing food assistance in our communities. Together, we can make a real difference.
