Congratulations to Sarah Armstrong, Patient Care Coordinator at our Hot Springs Central Clinic, and Carla Moore, Medical Records Clerk at our Mena Clinic, for being named our October Employees of the Month.

As we wrap up Halloween, we want to thank our Arkadelphia and De Queen clinic teams for representing Healthy Connections in their communities during local trick-or-treat events. From downtown Arkadelphia’s Main Street Trick or Treat to De Queen’s Trick or Treat on the Square, our staff helped create safe, fun spaces for families to celebrate together.

At Healthy Connections, Community is one of our three pillars—along with Compassion and Excellence—and showing up for local events like these is part of who we are. We’re proud to stand alongside our neighbors, supporting the places we call home.

Quality healthcare has arrived in Conway.

Healthy Connections is proud to bring more than 25 years of trusted, compassionate healthcare to Central Arkansas with the opening of our new Conway clinic, conveniently located at 2125 College Avenue. Beginning November 10, Conway residents can visit Family Nurse Practitioner Mandi Mears, APRN, for complete primary and family medical care — including checkups, wellness visits, and care for patients of all ages. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., and walk-ins are welcome.

Many families across Arkansas are feeling the effects of recent disruptions to SNAP benefits. At Healthy Connections, we know that food insecurity impacts health and well-being, and we’re stepping up to help.

Several of our clinics now have HCI Cares Donation Stations, where you can donate non-perishable food items—or take what you need. All collected items will go to local organizations providing food assistance in our communities. Together, we can make a real difference.

Our team joined the fun at the Arkansas State University–Three Rivers Trunk-or-Treat in Malvern, connecting with families and celebrating a safe, festive Halloween evening.

Thank you to Arkansas State University Three Rivers for hosting this great event and to everyone who stopped by our booth. A special thanks to Family Nurse Practitioner Leslie Collie, APRN, and the Malvern clinic team for spreading the love (and plenty of candy) throughout the night. Leslie is now seeing patients Monday through Thursday at the Malvern Pinnacle Clinic.
