Learning skills like waiting, sharing, listening, and regulating emotions is messy and full of trial and error. Children need repetition, guidance, and patience as their brains continue to develop. Mistakes aren’t failures—they’re part of the learning process. When we focus on teaching instead of punishing, we create space for real growth. Every reminder, repair, and retry is building skills that last.
