The DAISY Award is a prestigious international recognition honoring nurses who demonstrate extraordinary compassionate care and clinical excellence. Mr. Soriano was nominated by a grateful family member for his consistent, wonderful care and the kindness he shows his patients every day. We are so proud to celebrate his dedication.

Congratulations as well to our Justine Roberts Memorial Award recipient, Julian Smith! Voted by her peers for the C.N.A. Rose Award, Julian is recognized for her exceptional work, her compassion, and the meaningful difference she makes in the lives of our residents.

🌿 Good Friday at Andrus on Hudson 🌿

Our Food Services Department has done it again! Today’s special Good Friday menu was a true treat: shrimp and cornbread‑stuffed flounder with lemon butter, paired with sautéed garlic spinach and mushrooms.

Our residents enjoyed every bite, and we’re so grateful to our culinary team for continuing to bring creativity, care, and comfort to every meal. Moments like these make our community feel extra special 💛

🌞 Benedict Luncheon in the Solarium 🌞 Our residents are still savoring every moment of our monthly Benedict Luncheon — especially with the sunshine streaming into our beautiful Solarium. This month’s menu was a true treat: broiled lobster tail with champagne cream sauce, herb‑crusted baked potato, steamed broccoli with garlic sauce, and tiramisu to finish it off.

Goodbyes are never easy, and this week, our hearts were full as we honored Ms. Penny on her retirement. After 21 incredible years at Andrus on Hudson, she leaves behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our residents and staff.

Her kindness has shaped our community, and the care she has shown to every resident, as well as team member who has walked through our doors is truly immeasurable.

Thank you, Ms. Penny, for all you have done for our residents, for our team, and for AOH. You will always be part of our family, and we wish you nothing but joy in this next chapter. 💚

We kicked off the Lunar New Year celebrations from February 17 through March 3, bringing festive flavors and joyful moments to our community. During Happy Hour, our residents enjoyed delicious chicken dumplings, a simple but meaningful way to honor the holiday and its traditions.
