Goodbyes are never easy, and this week, our hearts were full as we honored Ms. Penny on her retirement. After 21 incredible years at Andrus on Hudson, she leaves behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our residents and staff.

Her kindness has shaped our community, and the care she has shown to every resident, as well as team member who has walked through our doors is truly immeasurable.

Thank you, Ms. Penny, for all you have done for our residents, for our team, and for AOH. You will always be part of our family, and we wish you nothing but joy in this next chapter. 💚

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Andrus on Hudson! Our residents celebrated the day with homemade lucky shakes and plenty of smiles, all while enjoying the sunshine pouring into our beautiful Solarium. A sweet treat, a bright view, and a little holiday magic made for a lovely afternoon together 💚

Our community came together for a meaningful and joyful Purim gathering, honoring a holiday rooted in courage, unity, and the triumph of light over adversity. Residents reflected on the story of Queen Esther — a reminder of bravery, hope, and standing up for one another.

We shared laughter, conversation, and the warmth of being together, embracing the spirit of Purim through connection and celebration.

🐉🧧 Lunar New Year at Andrus on Hudson!

We kicked off the Lunar New Year celebrations from February 17 through March 3, bringing festive flavors and joyful moments to our community. During Happy Hour, our residents enjoyed delicious chicken dumplings, a simple but meaningful way to honor the holiday and its traditions.

A wonderful start to a season of good fortune, togetherness, and new beginnings. ❤️

We celebrated Fat Tuesday in style during our Happy Hour, and the energy was as bright as the Mardi Gras beads! Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with festive colors, good company, and the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras.

💖🎨 Celebrating Love & Friendship at Andrus on Hudson

February is a month known for celebrating love — and we embraced it with warmth and creativity! Our residents gathered to reflect on the love we hold for ourselves and those closest to us.

In addition to gathering for Valentine's Day, we also hosted a special Woman’s Club event in honor of Galentine’s Day, celebrating friendship, connection, and the joy of being together.

✨🍽️ A Delicious Start to the Year at Andrus on Hudson!

Our residents enjoyed the first Helen Benedict Resident Luncheon of the year, and it certainly did not disappoint. The afternoon was filled with great company and an incredible menu featuring:

• Mesclun salad with Dijon vinaigrette
• Newport steak topped with chimichurri sauce
• Yucca fries
• Grilled asparagus
• Butter‑braised baby carrots
• And a sweet finish — tiramisu!

A wonderful way to kick off another year of memorable meals and moments together. 💙
