Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on bodywork approach developed from osteopathy. Practitioners use very light touch (often described as about the weight of a nickel) to assess and release tension in the craniosacral system, which includes:
The skull (cranium)
Spine
Sacrum
Cerebrospinal fluid
The goal is to support the body’s natural self-regulation and relaxation responses.
