Due to the overwhelming support both near and far with the sudden loss of Pastor Jim, please note the updated services details below and in his obituary.

A Celebration of Pastor Jim's Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Hastings Middle School, 1000 West 11th Street, Hastings, with Pastor Kent Begnough and Pastor Paris Pasch officiating. Private family interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings at a later date.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. As we expect a large gathering at the funeral home, additional parking will be at Coborn's, 255 West 33rd Street, Hastings, where a shuttle service will bring guests back and forth during the visitation. There will also be a visitation Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hastings Middle School where all can gather for coffee and donuts just like Jim would want us to.
