‼️Let's talk disc herniations: A disc herniation happens when the soft center of a spinal disc pushes out and irritates a nerve — causing back or leg pain, numbness, or tingling.
Why do they happen?
Most herniations occur from repeated stress, prolonged sitting, poor movement patterns, or gradual wear and tear — not from one “bad” move.
The good news:
Most herniations are not serious and heal without surgery. In fact, many people have disc herniations and don’t even know it because they never cause symptoms.
What helps?
• Gentle walking & movement
• Taking breaks from sitting
• Press-ups or extensions (if they feel good)
• Heat or ice — whichever helps most
Your spine is strong. Discs heal. And the right plan can make a big difference.
